I need to disappear into the woods. It’s been too many months. I need an adventure. I need a workout. I need to reconnect with nature and escape for a couple days.

I hate bugs.
Hate.
I’m covered in about 40 bug bites on my legs right now. At first I thought it was poison ivy from the concentrated area that they appeared, but now that it’s been 2 days and they haven’t developed into a rash I’ve realized that these are just bug bites. The likely culprit is chiggers.
Hate.

I just bought a new backpack and I’m stoked. It’s an REI Flash 65 ultralight pack (3.2 lbs) and it can break down into a minimalist daypack that weighs around 2lbs. One of the lightest packs (of any brand) that REI carries. I can now get rid of both my daypack and full pack.
I had to order online because the store only had smalls and larges. It needs to get here nowwwwww.
