A Semester of Procrastination
I’m done with my degree this semester. In fact, I’m already done with 2 of the 4 classes I’ve taken this semester. Hell, I’m really pretty much done with 3 of the 4 classes I’ve taken this semester.
…But, there’s still one class. I have 1 more paper to write for this class, but it appears as though the teacher is as bad of a procrastinator as me.
“Due April 23rd.”
“Extended to April 30th.”
Me, 15 minutes ago: “Hmm, it’s 8:45pm on April 30th. I guess I better write this paper now.”

Captain’s Log: A Year in Review
This has been a different year for me, a great year. 2011 has been a year for a lot of firsts, a lot of big changes, and a lot of positive things.

Every few weeks, I have an internal battle over my sharing of personal life details in an online public forum, like Tumblr. In the end, my privacy concerns win the battle and I end up saying 1/3rd of what I originally intended to share, if anything at all.
However, today, I want to note that I just had one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time. And to divulge a little more, I’ll say that an adorable lady is going to smile when she wakes up and sees this.
A little self reflection…
I have a good life. I really don’t know how I got to where I am today, but I wouldn’t give it up. I’ve made mistakes in the past and I’ve done some dumb things, but ultimately I’m here now and while looking around at everyone I know, everything I have, everything I’ve become, everything I’m working toward, I couldn’t ask for much more. I’m happy.
Pornopoly: A Day in My Life
Yesterday was my first stressful day of work since I received my promotion and moved to the main office. Things were breaking all at once and I was dealing with Better Business Bureau complaints for the better half of my day. At the end of the day, we had an hour long meeting which was full of a lot of disinterested CSRs. The President of my brand was at the meeting to personally address concerns from the CSRs and you could tell that he was quite bored due to the lack of interest. Thankfully for me, there are plenty of things to brighten your mood when you work for a porn company.
See, this meeting was in the Customer Service conference room, where the CSR teams have a game they created called “Pornopoly” drawn onto a rather large white board. I can’t even describe the beauty of this board game, so I will just let you know that a picture will follow in the upcoming days. Sneak peak: The word “Pornopoly” is being ejaculated by Rich Uncle Pennybags (aka Mr. Monopoly Man).
After the meeting was over I stayed back to talk to the President about some various things that were going on. While we are talking he looks over and takes notice to this white board. Mid-sentence without breaking his train of thought, he walks over to the board and erases a piece of the a in “Free Parking” to create “Free Porking.” He keeps talking the whole time and eventually I just can’t stop myself from busting out laughing.
So I laughed.
My day instantly became much less stressful.
